Cake Decorator
-
Our cake decorators are the lifeblood of the business and should be able to curate high quality designs with passion. This position requires the knowledge of general cake decorating and working with scratch baked products. A full time cake decorator should be motivated to work through their production lists and fill the pastry case as needed. This position is the reason our guests come back and requires the highest quality you can provide. Our cake decorators are expected to be on their feet for long periods of time, work in varying temperatures, and minimum lifting capacity of 25-75 pounds.

Our front of the house team members are the face of our company! The guests should be greeted with a smile and helpful attitude. Our product variety is large and you will be expected to learn our cake sizes, pricing, flavors, and lead time minimums. As a front of the house team member you will be expected to take cash with accuracy, and work with a fully computerized environment. This position has the potential for limited back of the house projects such as scooping cookies, rolling truffles, etc. You will be on your feet for long periods of time and may be subject to varying temperatures throughout the day. Minimum lifting capacity of 5-50 pounds.

Our front of the house team are the leaders that keep the ship moving forward. As a lead position you will be in charge of cash handling, customer orders, opening/closing of the business daily operations, ensuring proper and complete product display across the store. This position has the potential for limited back of the house projects such as scooping cookies, rolling truffles, etc. You will be on your feet for long periods of time and may be subject to varying temperatures throughout the day. Minimum lifting capacity of 10-50 pounds.

Scratch Baker

Our scratch bakers should be self motivated and able to follow a variable list of recipes daily. Our bakers should be able to follow our recipes to a T, using a wide range of baking methods. This position requires heavy lifting of 25-50 pounds and will be on their feet for long periods of time moving around often, as well as be subject to working with hot ovens, and cold refrigeration throughout the day.

Our Tournant should be well versed as a baker and cake decorator, this person should be flexible on a daily basis to fill where the position needs you most at any given day. This position could vary from making scratch baking recipes to cake build or even cake finishing. This position requires minimum lifting of 25-50 pounds, also be on their feet for long periods of time, and subject to hot and cold temperatures throughout the day.
